Appellation: Toscana Bianco IGT Region: Tuscany Alcohol: 12.5% Grapes: 85% Trebbiano, 10% Vermentino, 5% Viognier
Vinification and refinement From “Il Guado” vineyard, we obtained our white wine "Il Burchino" looking for the fresh expression of the coastal Tuscan winemaking. The Trebbiano basis, carefully vinified at low temperatures, is enriched by a portion of Vermentino grapes that give aromatic complexity and a pleasant acidity while the Viognier grapes give a creamy touch and an intriguing taste of tropical fruits. The grapes are hand-picked and vinified in the cellar of Burchino Estate. After soft pressing, the fermentation of the “mosto fiore” takes place at low temperatures with no contact with the skins.
Wine description Colour: Bright with greenish reflections. Bouquet: Fresh and delicate bouquet with notes of apricot, apple, acacia flowers and tropical fruits. Taste: On the palate the wine is soft and velvety with pleasant acidity and notes of vanilla and white chocolate at the finish.
Food pairings Excellent with fish courses, chicken and delicate appetizers. Serve chilled.
